That sounds backward, but it's the only way to set realistic expectations with a contractor who's going to warranty their work with our material in it. So we run accelerated aging tests in our lab - UV exposure equivalent to fifteen years of Arizona sun, thermal cycling from -20°C to 60°C, salt spray for coastal applications, and a custom flex test that simulates a decade of building movement. The numbers below come from the most recent round on our decorative polyurethane line. I've included the failures too, because pretending a product is indestructible is how warranty claims happen.
